Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson has continued his form this season and has been praised by England manager Thomas Tuchel.
The talented 23-year-old has made a name for himself in the Premier League and it’s no surprise that he has recently featured in the England national team.
Anderson could potentially become a key player for the Three Lions at next summer’s World Cup, as well as earn a big transfer in the near future.
As first reported here in the Daily Briefing, we understand Manchester United are interested in signing Anderson in a bid to strengthen their midfield.
The Red Devils could sign a top youngster in the middle of the park, a player Tuchel seems to rate very highly.
Manager Thomas Tuchel talks about Elliott Anderson
Watch below as Tuchel spoke at today’s press conference and revealed that he views Anderson as one of the best players in the Premier League in his current position.
Still, he made no mention of interest from Man Utd, nor would he commit to guaranteeing a place at next summer’s World Cup as it is still too far away…
Still, this is certainly very high praise for a manager who has worked with elite players during his career.
This will surely not go unnoticed by United fans, as the German tactician has made good use of Andersson and clearly thinks he could have a great career.
It remains to be seen whether MUFC will definitely make a move for the England international, as he is such an important player for Forest, but other top clubs are sure to be involved in the race to sign him at some point.
But for now, Anderson is doing everything right and after his impact in England, he fully deserves this special praise.
