Pervis Estupinan is rumored to be set to return to the Premier League at the end of the season.

The defender could leave AC Milan in the summer, with Tottenham Hotspur ready to bring him back to England. Milan Live reports that manager Roberto De Zerbi, who yesterday signed a long-term contract with the north London club, is particularly high on the player.

Zerbi wants Pervis Estupinan

He has been appointed as the club’s new manager and is aiming to further improve the team. Ben Davies is set to leave the club in the summer and they need his replacement. Signing an experienced left-back is a smart move and Estupinan could be a quality signing.

He showed his quality in the Premier League with Brighton and scored a stunning goal against Tottenham during his time in England. There is no doubt that he has the ability to succeed at Tottenham. The opportunity to join the London club could be exciting for him. There are also rumors that he is linked to Atlético Madrid.

De Zerbi worked with the player during his time at Brighton and a reunion could be exciting for both parties. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham will offer the player a contract in the summer.

Estupinan needs a transfer

Estupinan is not a regular starter at AC Milan, so they could be willing to sell him for the right price. Tottenham will be looking to take advantage of his situation and sign him for a reasonable fee in the summer.

The 28-year-old Ecuador international has played just 891 minutes in the league this season and needs to play more often at this stage of his career. A return to England could give him the fresh start he needs right now.

Estupinan was linked with Manchester United even before his move to Italy.
