  • Can Chelsea sign Vinicius Junior?

Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move from the Spanish club. His contract expires in 2027, but Real Madrid have not been able to agree a new deal with him. His performance is also not up to the expected level. The Brazilian has struggled this season and will aim to get back to his best.

Vinicius will improve Chelsea

There is no doubt that he is one of the best players in the world. He could be an unusual signing for Chelsea. Vinicius was nominated for the 2025 Ballon d’Or.

Fichajes reports that they could offer around 150 million euros to complete the deal. If Chelsea decide to pay that much for the Brazilian, it would set a Premier League transfer record.

There’s no question he can change them on offense. He will add speed, flair and unpredictability to the team. Chelsea need more quality in their side and the Real Madrid star would be an ideal signing for Chelsea.

On the other hand, the player has the qualities that made him successful in English football and could develop into a key player for Chelsea. He has proven himself in Spain and may now be ready to take on a new challenge. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

Real Madrid want to fight for big trophies and losing a player of his quality would be a devastating blow to them. However, if he refuses to sign a new contract, they will need to consider selling the player for a significant amount at the end of the season.
