Manchester United are keen to strengthen their attacking team under manager Ruben Amorim and could travel to South America in search of a young talent to be dubbed the next Neymar Junior.
Manchester United ready to address team issues mid-season
The Red Devils sit in the middle of the Premier League pack heading into a hectic run of fixtures between now and the new year, but this will give Amorim an insight into where the team needs to add iron to continue its recent growth.
After all, setbacks are part of football and Monday’s loss to Everton will be painful for Manchester United supporters, especially given the difficulty in breaking down the low block that David Moyes deployed at Old Trafford.
Matthijs de Ligt has given an honest assessment of what needs to change going forward, urging his team-mates to bounce back against Crystal Palace on Sunday and show increased urgency in south London.
He said: “Overall, it was a really bad performance. Obviously the next game is very important now. We have to bounce back from this performance. We’ve had some good performances in the last few weeks, but now it’s been a bad performance.”
“Now it’s about us coming back, coming together and being clear about what we have to do well. We may have lacked the urgency to score goals and create chances. And when you go back and play a team like Everton who are very strong in the air, it’s going to be very difficult. That basically sums up the night.”
Manchester United to ‘complete’ transfer and sign ‘next Casemiro’ soon
The Red Devils are ready to open their transfer checkbook.
Manchester United have identified Wolverhampton Wanderers pair Andre and Joao Gomez as targets for January. With Casemiro’s potential expiration of his contract, Amorim will be on the hunt for a midfielder, and it is clear that he is moving into that area.
Conversely, the Red Devils are now said to be at the front of the race for a talent who could become one of South America’s brightest stars in the coming years.
Manchester United lead race to sign Santos star Robinho Junior
Manchester United are leading the race to sign Santos prodigy Robinho Junior and have contacted his inner circle about bringing the 17-year-old winger to Old Trafford, according to reports in Spain.
He is known to be the son of former Manchester City and Real Madrid star Robinho, who has been compared to Neymar by his peers back home, and could be allowed to leave his current club due to financial circumstances.

Manchester United have been following his progress for several months and see a unique opportunity to develop his talents in England, but Santos are unlikely to part with the winger for a small fee.
This is something we’re going to seriously evaluate as the Brazilian giants are looking to pump money into the club, especially considering they’re on the brink of relegation, potentially creating an everybody-wins-wins scenario.
