Stephen Curry Set to Rejoin Warriors Alongside Brother Seth Curry for a Dynamic Duo Comeback

The Golden State Warriors are set to bring Seth Curry back on board with a one-year deal for the remainder of the season, as reported by ESPN. Seth initially participated in training camp with the Warriors, joining his older brother Stephen Curry, but was released just before the season began due to financial reasons. However, the team always planned to re-sign him, making it possible for the Curry brothers to reunite.

Seth Curry arrives after two seasons with the Charlotte Hornets, where he impressively shot 43.8% from beyond the arc. Throughout his career, he has played for multiple NBA teams including the Dallas Mavericks, Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, and more, despite going undrafted in 2013. Known for his exceptional three-point shooting—leading the league last season and maintaining a 43.3% career average—Seth is expected to bolster Golden State’s shooting performance.

The Warriors, currently with an 11-10 record, could greatly benefit from Seth’s sharpshooting, especially considering their less-than-stellar three-point percentage so far, partially due to Buddy Hield’s 30.8% success rate from deep. However, Seth’s impact will depend on how much playing time he earns in head coach Steve Kerr’s lineup.

The Curry siblings join a notable group of NBA brothers who’ve played together on the same team, including the Antetokounmpos with the Bucks, the Lopez twins also with the Bucks, the Mobley brothers with the Cavaliers, the Wagner brothers with the Magic, and the Morris twins with the Suns.

Stephen Curry, 37, has already established a legendary career, and if 35-year-old Seth plays a significant role in leading the Warriors to a championship this season, the Curry brothers would join the exclusive club of siblings who have won an NBA title together, a list currently dominated by the Antetokounmpos.

Fan Take: This reunion of the Curry brothers is a thrilling story for basketball fans, blending family ties with high-level talent. Seth’s return could bring a much-needed boost to Golden State’s shooting, potentially impacting the team’s success and adding another exciting chapter to NBA brotherhood legacies.
