Cadillac has announced that it will unveil its first F1 livery during the 2026 Super Bowl.
General Motors and the TWG Motorsport team will take part in their first official session in Barcelona at the end of January, as all teams shakedown their new cars ahead of pre-season testing in Bahrain. To unveil the team’s first livery, Cadillac purchased an ad spot during the NFL Super Bowl on February 8, exposing the ad to a potential audience of over 100 million viewers.
“The Super Bowl is one of the rare moments in American culture where sports, entertainment and storytelling come together, giving us an opportunity to showcase the Cadillac F1 Team on a stage that reflects who we are,” said Dan Twaris, CEO of Cadillac F1. “We’re proud of our American heritage, and we want to show up in a way that’s bold, innovative, and feels distinctly ours. This is just the beginning, but it’s a moment that I’m very proud of.”
Cadillac is the fifth team to reveal when it will unveil its 2026 identity, with Red Bull and Racing Bulls teaming up with Ford in Michigan on January 15th, followed by Alpine in Barcelona on January 23rd and Aston Martin on February 9th.
Discussions are ongoing, but teams that have already announced their color scheme are likely to be allowed to run their 2026 livery during the Barcelona shakedown, while teams that have not yet announced their color scheme will run with a one-off design throughout the five days in Spain.
