Thierry Henry, a football icon, has made remarkable achievements, including winning the World Cup with France and the Champions League with Barcelona, along with being part of Arsenal’s legendary invincibility. Ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Henry is set to join FOX Sports as a lead analyst, enhancing their broadcast team for this monumental event.

On Thursday, FOX Sports announced Henry’s addition, marking a significant step in their coverage. Brad Zager, the network’s president of production and operations, expressed enthusiasm about Henry’s inclusion, noting his status as a soccer legend.

Henry will be live broadcasting the FIFA World Cup draw on December 5, 2025, from Washington, D.C., which will lay the groundwork for the upcoming tournament featuring 48 teams. “Joining FOX Sports for World Cup coverage is both an honor and a privilege,” he remarked, conveying his excitement about the event.

Regarded as one of the greatest strikers ever, Henry is a top scorer for France with 51 goals in 123 appearances and holds a record of 228 goals for Arsenal in the Premier League. His accolades include consecutive European Golden Boots and numerous Player of the Year awards in England and France.

Throughout his storied career, Henry dazzled fans at various clubs, particularly during his record-breaking tenure at Arsenal. He also played for AS Monaco, Juventus, and Barcelona before joining Major League Soccer’s New York Red Bulls in 2010, where he made 122 appearances and achieved significant success.

Henry represented France in four World Cups, ultimately securing the title in 1998, and retired from professional football in 2014. After hanging up his boots, he took on managerial roles and contributed as a commentator and analyst, gaining recognition in both the UK and US.

Fan Take: Thierry Henry’s role at FOX Sports not only brings a wealth of experience to the table but also elevates the viewing experience for fans who cherish soccer’s rich history.
