  • Real Madrid keen on Jurgen Klopp as manager
  • Konate and Szoboszlai would be quality signings.

Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been linked with a return to management.

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in bringing in the German coach to replace Xabi Alonso. Real Madrid have had a mediocre record this season, but the Spaniard could be given a chance.

Real Madrid keen on Jurgen Klopp as manager

Klopp is undoubtedly one of the greatest managers of his generation and would be an unusual signing for Real Madrid. He has proven his quality in the past with Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool. There is no doubt that he can help Real Madrid bounce back strongly and win big trophies.

According to a report from Fijages, the German manager could request two players if he moves to Real Madrid. If he were to join a Spanish club, Ibrahima Konate and Dominik Szoboszlai would be on his wishlist. It will be interesting to see if Real Madrid are willing to sign these players for him.

Konate and Szoboszlai would be quality signings.

Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszlai scores against Leeds

Konate has performed very well for Liverpool since joining the club and is undoubtedly one of the best defenders in the Premier League. Real Madrid look vulnerable at the back and he could be an ideal signing for them. He is due to become a free agent in the summer of 2026 and could be a cost-effective solution to his defensive problems.

Meanwhile, the Hungarian midfielder has been Liverpool’s best player this season. Klopp signed the player during his time at Liverpool, so it’s no wonder he wants to take him to Real Madrid. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. Liverpool will not want to lose two players, especially to their former manager.
