Here’s a rewritten version of the content in my own words:

Gulfstream Park

Wood Lane Farm’s experienced homebred horse, Wolfy’s Dyna Ghost, breezed a half-mile on Sunday before his next race. On Saturday, we visited Gulfstream Park where the 7-year-old gelding clocked four furlongs in 49.55 seconds on a firm turf at Palm Meadows, Gulfstream’s training facility in Palm Beach County. His time ranked 4th out of 40 horses over that distance.

Wolfy’s Dyna Ghost is preparing for the $200,000 Fort Lauderdale (G3), a 1 1/8 mile prep for the $1 million Pegasus World Cup Turf (G1). Trained by Brian Lynch, he made his racing debut at Churchill Downs on January 24 and previously won the River City (G3) over the same distance on November 8 by two-thirds of a length. Throughout his career, Wolfy’s Dyna Ghost has earned 13 wins, including nine stakes wins in 31 starts with prize money totaling $1.23 million.

Trainer Lynch expressed optimism about the horse’s future, saying, “Let’s hope it’s not over yet. He’s sure to lead us in the right direction, and we’re excited to have him back here in Fort Lauderdale.” Lynch also bred Stone Farm’s lawsuit, which completed a half-mile on Palm Meadows grass in 49.40 seconds, the third-best time of the day, as part of the undercard $125,000 Janus race on Saturday.

Laurel Park

“The Hazlewood Express is on a roll at Laurel Park,” announcer Dave Rodman declared. Teenage apprentice rider Yedsit Hazlewood enjoyed a stellar Sunday with three more wins, starting with Wild Warrior ($5) for trainer Gary Capuano. This second parallel race featured a $49,000 first-level allowance for 2-year-olds at 1 1/16 miles.

Wild Warrior, a maroon colt by Improbable bred in Kentucky by Titletown Racing Stables and BRS, debuted last October at Delaware Park. After running close behind Barra de Plata in recent races, Wild Warrior faced off again, battling intensely before prevailing by two and three-quarter lengths in 1:50.18.

Hazlewood continued his winning streak by capturing race five on Devastating ($5) and wrapped up the day with a decisive victory on My Dear Antonia ($4.20). At just 17 years old, he’s a strong frontrunner for the 2025 Eclipse Award for outstanding apprentice jockeys. A Panamanian native, Hazlewood leads the Laurel Park jockey standings with 62 wins so far this year, 28 ahead of veteran Jorge Luis. Since his first win in April, Hazlewood has earned five stakes wins from 116 victories in 522 rides, with purse earnings nearing $3.88 million. Trainer Capuano has enjoyed 31 wins riding Hazlewood, including 22 juvenile race victories in 2025.

Los Alamitos

The six-day Winter Thoroughbred Meet ended Sunday, with trainer Doug O’Neill leading the standings with six wins, edging past Bob Baffert. It marks O’Neill’s 12th time topping or sharing the trainer title at Los Alamitos. In combination with the Winter Games, September, and Los Angeles County Fair meets, he amassed 15 total wins, four ahead of Steve Knapp.

Jockey Kazushi Kimura shared the riding title with Armando Ayuso and Juan Hernandez, each securing six wins. Kimura dominated the top three tournaments in 2025, totaling 22 wins at Los Alamitos, six more than runner-up Kyle Frey. Daytime thoroughbred races will return in 2026 with three summer Los Angeles County Fairs starting June 19.

On the closing day, owner-breeders J. Paul Reddam’s Reddam Racing LLC earned their fourth victory in the King Glorious Stakes with Smoothin’ Saturday, a 7-2 second favorite. The California-bred 2-year-old son of I’ll Have Another took advantage of a fast early pace to win his second career race, now with earnings nearing $96,000. Ridden by Tiago Pereira, he completed a mile in 1:37.31, edging runner-up John Metcalfe by a quarter-length.

Oaklawn Park

Trainer Lobby Medina has ambitions for Grand Prix Stakes winner Pray, aiming for a G1 victory. Pray’s last elite-level race was the Breeders’ Cup Filly Sprint (G1) last November, where she finished last among seven. Medina plans to start fresh with the filly in the $150,000 Carousel Stakes at Oaklawn on February 28, seeing it as a stepping stone toward the bigger Madison Stakes (G1) at Keeneland in April.

Pray has been resting and training in Kentucky and had notable wins last season including the Prioress Stakes (G3) at Saratoga and Thoroughbred Club of America Stakes (G2) at Keeneland. Medina is optimistic about the upcoming season as the Breeders’ Cup returns to Keeneland next year. He currently manages 25 horses in Kentucky and 15 at Oaklawn.

Rising jockey Tyler Bacon earned his 200th career win at Oaklawn riding Mischievous M ($67.40). Bacon, 18, was a top apprentice last season with 49 wins and also claimed a riding title at Prairie Meadows earlier this year.

West Point Thoroughbreds’ Count the Stars won the $135,000 Astral Spa Overnight Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Oaklawn by four lengths, marking her first stakes win in just her third start. Trainer Mark Cass guided the daughter of Painter’s Numbers to a 1:11.13 finish with jockey Francisco Arrieta aboard. Count the Stars, bred in Kentucky, was bought for $150,000 at the OBS Spring Two-Year-Old Sale.
