AC Milan are keen to sign an attacker from Premier League side West Ham.
The player in question is Niklas Furkrük, who is rumored to be leaving the club in the January transfer window.
The German’s high-profile move to the London Stadium fell through and he is now aiming to leave the club in the next transfer window in the run-up to the World Cup.
Despite his strong reputation as a centre-forward, the 32-year-old has struggled for form and goalscoring, scoring just three goals in 29 appearances in all competitions.
A return to Europe is a big possibility as the player is keen to feature regularly to improve his chances of making it into the World Cup squad.

Among the clubs interested in him are Italian giants AC Milan. AC Milan are looking to sign a new striker in the January transfer window, with Santiago Jimenez’s future uncertain, according to the latest information from Fabrizio Romano.
According to Romano, the Italian club has been in contact with Furkrük’s camp and negotiations are currently taking place between the player’s entourage and Milan.
Romano shared an update with X, saying: “Regardless of what happens with Santi Jimenez, AC Milan is working on signing a new striker for the January transfer window.
“As reported in recent weeks and days, negotiations are underway targeting the Niklas Furkrük camp.”
West Ham could sign swap deal for Santiago Jimenez
Jimenez has long been rumored to be moving to the English league.
Tottenham have had an interest in him in the past, as have Nottingham Forest, who also tried and failed to sign him before joining AC Milan from Feyenoord.
He continues to be linked with a move to the Premier League. Leeds United are among the clubs linked and reportedly want to sign the hitman.
Interestingly, West Ham have also been linked with Jimenez, leaving the possibility of a swap deal open.
His impressive scoring record with the Dutch club earned him a high reputation in Europe.
In 105 appearances across all competitions for Feyenoord, the Mexican international scored 65 goals and provided 14 assists, ultimately earning him a high-profile move to Italy.
