World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler has been named the PGA Tour Player of the Year for the fourth straight season after a campaign that included two major wins, the tour announced Monday.

Scheffler, who won six titles in 2025, becomes the second player after Tiger Woods to win this honor in four or more consecutive seasons.

“Scottie’s consistent level of success as he continues to make PGA Tour history is nothing short of remarkable, and we look forward to what he brings in 2026,” said Tour Chief Executive Brian Rolup.

The 29-year-old Scheffler won the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow in May by five strokes, winning his third major.

He added a fourth at the British Open at Royal Portrush in July.

South Africa’s Aldrich Potgieter has been named the PGA Tour’s Rookie of the Year.

Potgieter, 21, was one of five rookies to win on tour in 2025 and the only player to advance to the FedEx Cup playoffs.
