Spain is set to finish 2025 as the top-ranked men’s team in the FIFA standings.

The latest rankings were released on Monday and showed minimal changes, with only the Arab Cup matches influencing the standings since the last update on November 19.

The top ten teams remain the same, placing Spain ahead of Argentina, France, England, Brazil, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Croatia.

Spain successfully qualified from Group E in the World Cup qualifiers and is set to compete against Uruguay, Saudi Arabia, and Cape Verde in Group H of the 2026 tournament, which will take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Vietnam made the most significant gain in the rankings, climbing three spots to 107th.

The next rankings update is scheduled for January 19.
