Aston Villa defender Yacine Ozcan joined Anderlecht in the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old defender is on loan at the Belgian club, with the team having the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season. Although he was not their regular starter, he seemed to impress coaches with his attitude and application in practice.
He has made a cameo appearance with them and it will be interesting to see if he can secure a regular starting spot at the Belgian club in the coming months. He is a talented player with a bright future and will want to put his career in order quickly. It is unlikely that he has a future at Aston Villa.
Ozcan has no future in Villa.
The West Midlands club signed him from Kasimpasa earlier this year, but they do not consider him a key part of their future plans. Aston Villa want to sell him on a permanent basis and will hope the Belgian club will have the opportunity to sign him in the summer.
Meanwhile, the Belgian club’s manager revealed that the defender has been working hard in training and has been impressed. However, you need to work on your communication. Ozkan speaks little English, making it difficult for him to communicate with his teammates and coaches. It will be interesting to see if the 19-year-old can solve that problem in the coming months.
Will Yasin Ozkan be able to decide his future?
“He is trying to bring a style of football, but it is difficult to communicate. He speaks little English. He has a lot of energy, works at full throttle in training and was an active substitute in both games,” Besnik Hasi told Votbar Krant.
You need to learn the language properly so that you can quickly adapt and blend into the new environment.
