Manchester United are currently expected to sign Manu Kone from AS Roma.

The 24-year-old French midfielder has performed well with the team and is expected to move on at the end of the season. According to journalist Francesca Teodori, the player is very keen to join Manchester United and a move is likely to take place in June.

She said on ASRomaLive’s Twitch channel: “It’s not news, but it’s a very credible rumor. I’ve heard from multiple sources that he will leave Roma in June and join Manchester United.”

“I don’t know if this has anything to do with the Zirksee deal. He may have been included as a counterpart of sorts. This remains to be seen, but what is certain is that Kone is very keen on a transfer destination and it looks like he could join United in June.”

Manchester United need more quality and depth in the middle of the park and the 24-year-old would be a fantastic signing. He is a talented and promising player with the technical attributes to control matches at Manchester United in the Premier League. He can improve with coaching and experience. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can agree a deal with the Italian club. They have the resources to get a deal done and the Frenchman would be a great addition.

He has proven himself in Italy and Germany in the past. He will now be looking to make his mark in the Premier League. There is no doubt that he has the ability to succeed in England. Improving the midfield should be one of Manchester United’s priorities after the season ends, and it’s no wonder they have their eye on the 24-year-old.
