Pramac MotoGP rider Jack Miller has expressed high regard for the Yamaha M1, considering it one of the better bikes he has raced in MotoGP throughout his career. The Australian racer, with a rich background riding for Honda, Ducati, KTM, and now Yamaha since his 2015 debut, highlights the unique qualities of the M1.

Having secured victories with Honda and Ducati, Miller switched to Yamaha in 2025, marking his first experience on an inline four-cylinder MotoGP bike. His season with Pramac was a mix of highs and lows, with a best finish of fifth at the America’s GP, ending up 17th in the overall M1 rankings.

Miller has praised the M1’s front-end performance and described it as a “special bike.” He acknowledges that both the bike and the sport have evolved, making direct comparisons with past years challenging. Despite recognizing some areas needing improvement, Miller remains optimistic, emphasizing that the M1 has many strengths and that he feels fortunate to ride it. Although Yamaha’s bike isn’t initially suited to his style, Miller believes they have adapted well, achieving strong results but also facing setbacks.

Looking ahead to 2026, Miller will continue with Pramac and take on a crucial role in developing Yamaha’s new V4 bike. His vast experience with V4 machines helped secure his contract extension amid an uncertain period in early 2025. He will team up with three-time World Superbike champion Toprak Razgatlioglu, with Miller’s expertise playing a vital role in supporting Razgatlioglu’s transition.

Fan Take: This news is exciting for racing fans because Miller’s involvement in developing Yamaha’s new V4 bike signals a potentially fresh and competitive chapter for the team. His experience and adaptability could drive innovation, boosting both Yamaha’s performance and the overall excitement in MotoGP.
