Manchester United are considering a shock move by signing Ruben Amorim, one of the best crossers in world football.
Manchester United lack creativity without captain
The Red Devils are due to host struggling Wolves at Old Trafford this week, with Amorim confirming captain Bruno Fernandes will miss the final game of the year.
“Bruno has already said that he needs to train, but we don’t know,” Amorim said ahead of Tuesday’s match against Wolves, who are two points behind.
“There’s no chance he’ll play against Wolves. No chance. You can write that.”
Fernandes, who picked up a muscle injury in the defeat to Aston Villa, has been in the best form of his United career, scoring five goals and providing seven assists in the Premier League this season.
Without the Portuguese star, United lacked creativity in midfield, with Casemiro, who Amorim started against Newcastle, and Manuel Ugarte registering just their only assists in the league this season.
And with rumors circulating that Bruno’s incredible season could be his last red-shirted, INEOS are on the market for a player who can provide goals and assists from midfield, and are already in talks with Mali star Racine Shinayoko.

Manchester United eyeing surprise move for Alexander-Arnold
INEOS could be considering a shock move for Trent Alexander-Arnold to fill Bruno’s creative void, according to reports in Spain.
The former Liverpool star failed to settle at Madrid and struggled with form and fitness, making just five starts in La Liga, despite being one of Real’s highest-paid players on £280,000-a-week.

The newspaper says United, along with Newcastle and Manchester City, would “have no problem” paying €40 million ($35 million) if Madrid decide to take the cash, but the England international is now keen to compete for a place.
While Alexander-Arnold’s defense has often been questioned, there is no doubting the influence that could replace Bruno’s creative work, with Dennis Irwin even comparing him to David Beckham.
“It’s great. I think he plays like David Beckham, I have to say that. As a full-back, when you look at the big picture, you see the big picture and his game is better than anyone I’ve seen in a game. It really is.”
Alexander-Arnold has only registered two assists since moving to Madrid, but has now provided 67 assists in 259 appearances in England’s top flight.
