For those who had hopes of getting a tee time in 2026 at Landmund Golf Club in the remote town of Homer, Nebraska, the final day of 2025 may have been less fruitful.

Located in Sioux City, approximately 90 miles north of Omaha and just across the Iowa state line, this public access course was the first original 18-hole layout by KingCollins Golf Course Design. Regular play began on September 3, 2022.

All tee times this year were sold through the course’s website at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

In 2023, the annual tea time was sold out in about two months.

In 2024, it disappeared in about two hours.

And in 2025 it took about 50 minutes.

It’s unclear if this year’s tee times sold out faster than last year, but it’s likely they will. According to multiple sources, all tee times had ended as of 9 a.m.

Landmande ranks No. 18 on Golfweek’s “2025 Best Courses to Play: Top 100 U.S. Public Access Layouts” list. #1 public access golf course in Nebraska. And it ranks high on many bucket list.
