This week, while most of the golf world is on hiatus until 2026, a tournament filled with the world’s top amateurs was held in Arizona.

The Patriot All-America concluded Wednesday, with Arizona State junior Connor Williams and Arkansas State senior Regan Zibilski winning the title. Middle Tennessee State University sophomore Connor Henry won the Thunderbirds, his second tournament held at the same time as the Patriot All-America.

The Patriot All-America Invitational features PING All-Americans from previous seasons from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA and NJCAA. Also included are AJGA’s 2024 First Team All-America Seniors and other special invitees. The 54-hole amateur event is known as the first of its kind, bringing together the talents of 159 nationally recognized male and female golfers simultaneously in one tournament.

Williams shot a 4-under 66 in the final round at the Wigwam Course in Arizona for a wire-to-wire victory. He finished the 54-hole event at 14 under par, which was enough for a six-stroke victory.

“It feels great. I look forward to this tournament every winter break. It means a lot to come back and win the second year,” Williams said. “I think I controlled most of the game. I played very smartly, some of the pins were very tricky, and I think I only hit three bogeys. That’s big, because even though I have birdies, I have to avoid some of the bigger numbers.”

Dzibilski had another great final round, finishing with a 4-under 66 for a total of 6 under, winning by one stroke over USC’s Kylie Chong and 2023 champion Tillie Claggett of Vanderbilt.

“It’s been a long year, but it’s been a fun year, so it means a lot to end 2025 with a win,” Zibilski said. “I told my dad to be patient and steady on the front and then start running on the back because the front was looking really tough. And that’s exactly what I did. I was patient and dropped the putts as they came.”

Patriot All America partners with the Folds of Honor Foundation to honor fallen and seriously wounded soldiers. Golfers will receive golf bags donated by PING at the event’s opening ceremony. The bag is engraved with the name and affiliation of a fallen or injured military member or first responder to represent him or her. Participants are also given cards with the stories of soldiers and first responders so you can learn more about them and give many top players a unique perspective on not just golf, but life. After the tournament, the golf bags will be shipped to the players’ schools and auctioned off, with all proceeds going to the Folds of Honor Foundation.
