He paid his dues. Now he is back in his place. Brooks Koepka filed to return to the PGA Tour on January 10, 2026. Brian Rolup’s office today confirmed that the player has returned to the tour, albeit after paying a hefty penalty. Nevertheless, Koepka was grateful for the opportunity to return.

The 35-year-old tweeted, “I want to thank my family and team for their continued support throughout every step of my professional career. As a kid I always dreamed of playing on the @PGATOUR and today I’m just as excited to announce my return to the PGA TOUR. Being closer to home and spending more time with my family makes this opportunity especially meaningful to me.”

“I believe in where the PGA Tour is headed with new leadership, new investors, and an equity program that gives players meaningful ownership. I also understand that there are financial penalties associated with this decision, and I accept them. Lastly, I want to thank our fans. Your support today means more to me than ever before. I look forward to seeing you soon at the Farmers Insurance Open and WM Phoenix Open.”
