Tottenham supporters were handed a transfer update by trusted journalist Alasdair Gold as he linked up with the ‘exciting’ forward.

Spurs have already strengthened Thomas Frank’s side with the signings of midfielder Conor Gallagher and left-back Souza, in deals worth a total of £47m in a bid to turn around a disappointing season.
Gallagher’s high-profile addition was made on Wednesday when he completed his £34m move from Atletico Madrid, signing a five-and-a-half-year contract until 2031.
The England international’s move represents a significant statement of intent from Spurs, who beat Aston Villa to secure the deal after the Midlands side could only offer him a loan deal.
Gallagher’s return to London comes just 18 months after he left Chelsea for Spain in a £38m deal. However, his appearances at the Wanda Metropolitano have been limited this season, with the 25-year-old now looking for a new home, with Spurs increasing their interest after Rodrigo Bentancur missed large parts of the season with a hamstring injury.
Frank expressed his delight at the signing of the energetic midfielder and praised Gallagher’s leadership qualities and work rate.

Spurs are still prioritizing the signing of new attackers this month.
Spurs have also finalized a £13m deal for Souza, with the 19-year-old Brazilian completing the process this week.
The teenager made headlines despite Santos’ difficult 2025 season, appearing in 29 games and ranking in the top 10 percent of his division for successful take-ons and carries into the penalty area.
Souza would provide much-needed depth and competitiveness to Destiny Udogi, who has struggled to find consistency under Frank. The youngster also agreed to a five-year contract and showed his commitment by waiving 25 percent of his financial rights, allowing Santos to receive the full transfer fee.
Both deals reflect Tottenham’s determination to support Frank despite intense pressure on the Dane, with the club currently languishing in mid-table after a tumultuous season.
Spurs aren’t done there either, with reports claiming they are prioritizing the signing of a new forward this month.
A number of names have been rumored in the past week, including Yann Diomande, Christos Tzoris, Oscar Bobb, Savignho and Omar Marmouche, but Monaco’s Magnes Acrios is also reportedly still on the radar.
The France international, who actually performed well against Spurs in the Champions League earlier this season, was targeted last summer and the idea of a January deal is still being floated.

Gold took to YouTube to share an update on the prospect of a “surprise” move for Akuriosh this month.
“It is my understanding that Monaco are considering potential replacements for him in case they lose him this month or in the summer,” Gold said.
“From what I understand, he was an alternative option to Xavi Simons in the summer, so it might be a little surprising if they sign Xavi and then switch to another option.
“But let’s see, let’s see.”
Gold went on to say that this may be unlikely unless the Spurs see him as a right-wing replacement to replace the injured Mohamed Kudus and the sidelined Brennan Johnson.
The same journalist described Akurios as an “exciting” player, but there may be too many forwards to choose from once Frank is ready to bring back all his injured attackers.
The 23-year-old has mainly played on the right wing rather than centrally this season, so if Spurs decide they really need another option on that flank, Akurios could be the answer.
The Monaco academy product has played in a total of 23 games this season, scoring three goals and providing five assists, and last season he was in double figures with 12 assists in all competitions.
He will reportedly cost around £50 million, far less than other targets such as Diomand.
