“It’s been a tumultuous past year for Finau, as he has struggled with legal issues and only one golf match in which he finished in the top 10 in 2025,” Canon said. “Statistically, Finau has fallen into the 125th to 150th place area in the overall tour rankings in terms of approach play, scrambling, greens in regulation, putting, etc. I imagine a player of his caliber would turn things around, but I don’t expect that to happen yet. In his five previous visits to Waialae, Finau has missed the cut twice and has never finished higher than 20th.Hoge and Finau are both priced in the triple digits.”He needs a win this week, but if he can find a head-to-head matchup with them, it’s worth a closer look. ”
