Everton are reportedly preparing to battle their Premier League rivals to sign Fulham winger Harry Wilson this summer.

TeamTalk reports that the Toffees are keen to bring the Wales international back to Merseyside, taking advantage of his apparent desire to return to the north of England.

Wilson, a former Liverpool youth, has become a mainstay at Craven Cottage, but sources say he is eyeing a new challenge closer to home at Wrexham.

Fulham are desperate to extend their stay in west London but face stiff competition. Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and Sunderland are all monitoring the situation closely, with Leeds remaining keenly interested after failing to pursue him last summer.

Despite transfer speculation, Wilson remained professional and clinical on the pitch, establishing himself as one of Fulham’s standout performers this season.

In the 2025/26 season, the winger was in great form, appearing in 21 games and scoring 7 goals and providing 4 assists.

He has developed a reputation as a player suited for big matches, most recently scoring the winning goal late against Chelsea and scoring the crucial equalizer against his former club Liverpool.

His ability to cut in from the right and unleash deadly long-range attacks has made him an essential part of Marco Silva’s team.

Losing such a productive outlet would be a huge blow to the Cottages.

Wilson was one of Liverpool’s academy players and was highly regarded and popular among Liverpool’s supporters.

Fans likened him to Fernando Torres due to their similar appearance, particularly his “baby-faced” features and slicked-back hairstyle, earning him the nickname “Scouse Torres.”

This comparison was most evident in 2018, when Wilson was on loan at Derby County. In the Carabao Cup match at Old Trafford, Wilson scored a stunning free-kick to help Manchester United defeat Manchester United.

He then celebrated by holding up the five fingers that Torres famously used to tease United fans about Liverpool’s five European Cup appearances.

It remains to be seen whether Wilson will join Liverpool’s city rivals Everton or opt for a move to Leeds United, who are keen to secure his presence.
