In New York, Matthew Robertson secured the win for the Rangers by scoring 3:53 into overtime, breaking their three-game losing streak with a 4-3 victory over the Boston Bruins on Monday night. Alongside Robertson, Will Quill, JT Miller, and Will Borgen all contributed goals, while goaltender Jonathan Quick notched his 408th career win, moving past Hall of Famer Glenn Hall to claim 12th place on the NHL all-time wins list. Quick also made 21 saves and assisted on the overtime winner.

The Rangers, currently at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, have taken two of three encounters against the Bruins this season. Playing at home, their record improved to 6-13-4, marking their third victory in 14 games. For Boston, Elias Lindholm scored twice, and Morgan Geeky added another goal. David Pastrnak contributed three assists, reaching a milestone of 900 career points, thanks in part to his nine assists over the past five games. Bruins’ goalie Joonas Korpisalo saved 24 shots in the match.

Will Quill opened the scoring midway through the first period with his 12th goal of the season. Later, with 6:17 remaining in the third period, Will Borgen evened the score with a wrist shot. Prior to the game, the Rangers honored their 1994 championship team as part of the franchise’s 100th anniversary celebrations.

Upcoming games include the Bruins hosting the Nashville Predators on Tuesday, while the Rangers face the New York Islanders on Wednesday.
