  • Jake Paul Celebrates New Signings with Most Valuable Promotions

The latest agreement is expected to significantly boost Most Valuable Promotions’ profile.

Jake Paul faced an indefinite suspension following a severe injury sustained during his defeat to Anthony Joshua late last year.

Predictably, the prospect of a controversial figure going up against a two-time former heavyweight champion garnered substantial attention for Netflix.

Though it remains uncertain who Paul will challenge next, it’s confirmed that he has no plans to switch to MMA.

Meanwhile, his promotion continues expanding its roster by signing fighters who share a rebellious and unconventional path in combat sports.

July: Poca Oliveira Joins Most Valuable Promotions Following Her Time with Misfits

Jake Paul’s promotional company has played an important role in raising the profile of women’s boxing recently.

High-profile events, like the trilogy between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano featured on Netflix, have showcased new possibilities for women’s boxing.

It’s therefore not surprising that Most Valuable Promotions signed an undefeated boxer who has already proven her ability to attract a large following.

On January 29th, MVP revealed its newly signed fighters list, highlighting Julie “Poca” Oliveira, touted as the most popular female fighter globally.

The Brazilian athlete boasts 6.8 million followers across social media, having initially gained traction through her workout clips, but her fame skyrocketed after a viral incident.

A video showing Oliveira knocking out an Uber driver assaulting two women spread widely, leading to several amateur fights with Misfits Boxing.

Poca Oliveira wasn’t the only recent addition to the MVP roster.

WBC featherweight champ Tiara Brown and IBF junior middleweight titleholder O’Shea Jones have also signed on.

Jake Paul shared a photo of himself arriving, surrounded by the new signees, and wrote:

“My passion for boxing begins inside the ring, but equally involves how I can contribute outside it—using my platform to bring boxing to a broader global audience. Welcome Tiara Brown, O’Shea Jones, Julie Poca, Leanna Cruz, Miranda Reyes, and Elise Soto to MVP.”

Fan Take:
This surge in signings and media attention signals a growing momentum in boxing, especially for women’s divisions, driven by smart promotion and crossover personalities like Jake Paul. For fight fans, it means bigger events, broader exposure, and more dynamic matchups that could elevate the sport’s profile worldwide.
