With negotiations over the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) at a standstill, the WNBA and the players’ union are set to meet face-to-face for the first time since last fall. Kelsey Plumb told Unrivaled reporters that she and fellow union vice president Nafeesa Collier will travel to New York following their game in Miami on Sunday night. WNBPA President Nneka Ogwumike will also participate, along with the league’s CBA leadership, the Labor Relations Board, and staff from both the league and the union, according to a source familiar with the meeting who spoke to Front Office Sports. Additionally, team owners are expected to attend the discussions.

Fan Take: This meeting marks a crucial moment for WNBA fans hoping for progress in securing better conditions and pay for players. How these negotiations unfold could significantly shape the future growth and popularity of the league.
