  • Manchester United need Gomez

Manchester United aim to strengthen their midfield unit with the signing of Joao Gomez from Wolves.

TEAMtalk reports that the team is prepared to delay the acquisition of the 24-year-old Brazilian midfielder if the right opportunity presents itself. The player is reportedly keen on a move from Molineux.

Joao Gomez may consider a move

The opportunity to join Manchester United is an exciting one for him, but it remains to be seen whether an agreement can be reached by all parties.

Wolves are fighting for survival in the Premier League. There is a strong possibility that things will deteriorate towards the end of the season, and there is a possibility that they will lose several key players in the summer. Selling the Brazilian this month could fetch a significant amount of money.

Manchester United are considering several midfield options and it will be interesting to see if they decide to wait until the summer transfer window. The paper claims they could decide to hold off on signing the midfielder during this period and instead invest at the end of the season.

They need to add more control and defensive cover in the middle of the park. The Brazilian has proven his quality in the Premier League and Gomez is certainly talented enough to play in a big team.

A move to Manchester United would be ideal for him as he would help tighten up the Red Devils’ back line and improve their control of the game in the center of the park.

The player is only 24 years old and will improve with coaching and experience. Manchester United could develop him into a top-class central midfielder in the Premier League.
