Dana White Fired Up at Oscar De La Hoya: “Start an OnlyFans and Cover Your Los Angeles Office Expenses”

Upon hearing about his rival’s recent troubles, Dana White launched into what promises to be one of his signature tirades targeting Oscar De La Hoya.

The famed boxer turned promoter’s company, Golden Boy Promotions, is reportedly facing foreclosure after defaulting on a loan connected to its downtown Los Angeles offices. Out of a $27 million commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) loan for the 150,000-square-foot building, around $23 million remains unpaid.

Clearly amused by this development, White dredged up some notorious photos of De La Hoya to mock the embattled promoter. He labeled Golden Boy Promotions—a direct competitor to White’s Zuffa Boxing—as a “sinking ship” and ridiculed the former champion.

While tuning into tonight’s Zuffa Boxing event at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, White took a moment to join social media influencer Nina Drama’s live Kickstream broadcast. The two chatted briefly before White launched into one of his harshest attacks yet on De La Hoya, who has long been his adversary.

When asked about Eddie Hearn, with whom White maintains a relatively cordial relationship, he quickly shifted focus to De La Hoya’s recent difficulties and his PR team’s public struggles.

White gleefully commented, “Oscar is on a sinking ship and won’t stop talking. This guy’s good-looking, but soon he’ll have to strip down to panties and stockings and start an OnlyFans to pay the rent. My son’s running out of money, the ship’s going down fast, and you keep chatting through it all… Is that what you want? Put your pants and fishnets back on and pay me the $23 million you owe. Talk to me later — goodbye.”

It’s important to note the report specifies Golden Boy Promotions—not De La Hoya personally—as the entity defaulting on the loan. Confusion may stem from De La Hoya’s boxing nickname “Golden Boy” and his majority ownership of the company.

White’s reference to fishnet stockings harkens back to a 2007 scandal in which photos of De La Hoya dressed in fishnets, tutus, and high heels were leaked. Initially claimed to be doctored, the photos were eventually confirmed genuine by De La Hoya four years later.

Fan Take:
This drama highlights the intense rivalry and personal animosity that continue to fuel the competitive landscape of combat sports. For fans, the financial troubles of Golden Boy Promotions could signal shifts in power dynamics within boxing promotions, potentially opening the door for emerging entities like Zuffa Boxing to reshape the sport’s future.
