Arsenal are interested in signing Bournemouth attacker Eli Junior Crupi.

The 19-year-old attacker joined the Cherries at the start of the season and has had an outstanding performance for the club. He has scored eight goals in the Premier League so far, including one against Arsenal earlier this season. According to a report from MediaFoot, the Gunners have been impressed with his performances and would like to sign him.

Crupi has been hailed as an “incredible” talent by coach Andoni Iraola.

Bournemouth paid €13 million to sign the player, but Arsenal are likely to demand a substantial fee if they come close in the summer. It’s no secret that they are looking for more quality in their attack. They spent a lot of money on Viktor Gökeres in the summer transfer window, but the Sweden international hasn’t delivered enough.

Arsenal need a more reliable attacker to lead up front and the 19-year-old could be ideal. He has the potential to develop into a top-class player. He has adapted smoothly to Premier League football and will only improve with coaching and experience. Playing for one of the biggest teams in the country will only help him develop further.

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal respond to their interest and make a formal offer to complete the deal. They will face competition from France’s PSG. Both clubs have the financial wherewithal to pay the premium and it will be interesting to see where the 19-year-old attacker ends up.

He should aim to join a club where he can play a prominent role. He needs regular high-level game time to reach his incredible potential.
