Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Belgian attacker Mika Gotts.

The 20-year-old is highly regarded across Europe and is also a target for Barcelona. The player has scored 10 goals and provided nine assists for Ajax this season and is attracting attention from the top teams. According to a report from Betbal International (h/t TEAMtalk), Arsenal have made inquiries for the 20-year-old attacker. He has been compared to former Chelsea player Eden Hazard due to his dribbling ability and explosive speed.

Tottenham are also interested in Gotts.

Arsenal could use Mika Gotts

Arsenal could use a player like him. They have struggled to break down deep defenses and need more ingenuity in the final third.

The 20-year-old is excellent at taking on defenders and beating them in one-on-one situations. He could be a solid signing for Arsenal.

Leandro Trossard has been linked with leaving the club at the end of the season, with Gotts potentially the ideal replacement.

Arsenal signed Eberechi Eze to add more talent to their final third, but the former Crystal Palace star has failed to live up to expectations. He has struggled to secure a regular starting spot.

It will be interesting to see if Arsenal follow up their investigation with a formal offer. A deal could be signed for around 15-20 million euros.

Meanwhile, Barcelona also need more quality on the flanks. They have the funds to pay his asking price, but it remains to be seen how the situation will play out.

Gotts will be tempted to join both clubs, but he should choose his next move carefully. He should join a club where he can play a prominent role. Sitting on the bench at a big club will have a negative impact on his development.
