Since rejoining NASCAR with Hendrick Motorsports (HMS) in 2021, Kyle Larson has been tremendously successful driving the No. 5 Chevrolet presented by HendrickCars.com. The 33-year-old driver has secured 26 Cup Series victories and captured two Cup Series championships in 2021 and 2025, marking a remarkable achievement in his career.

Following this outstanding performance, Hendrick Motorsports has announced a five-year contract extension for Larson, while crew chief Cliff Daniels also agreed to a multi-year extension. Furthermore, HendrickCars.com will remain the primary sponsor for the No. 5 car for 35 of the 38 races each season moving forward. Larson’s partnership with HendrickCars.com has generated over $80 million in television exposure and attracted tens of millions of social media interactions for the company.

Larson expressed his gratitude and excitement about continuing his journey with Hendrick Motorsports and HendrickCars.com, emphasizing the strong support from the team and the belief from Rick Hendrick and JB Brown, President of Hendrick Automotive Group. He highlighted their shared ambitions to keep competing at the highest level and striving for more wins and championships alongside his crew chief Cliff Daniels and the No. 5 team.

Hendrick Motorsports, the most successful team in NASCAR Cup Series history, counts Larson as one of its most accomplished drivers. Only Hall of Famers Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon have more HMS wins and titles than Larson, and only Tim Richmond boasts a higher winning percentage with Hendrick equipment.

Rick Hendrick, owner of HMS and chairman and CEO of Hendrick Automotive Group, praised Larson as one of the sport’s most complete drivers, citing his talent, dedication, and racing instincts as key factors in their sustained success. Hendrick also lauded Cliff Daniels for his leadership and the valuable partnership with HendrickCars.com, which continues to deliver measurable benefits for the automotive side of the business while supporting their long-term competitiveness on the track.
