Perhaps all Collin Morikawa needed was a little perspective.
The 29-year-old made a final birdie on the famous par-5 18th on Sunday to win the 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and end a three-year winless drought. His seventh PGA Tour title comes with a $3.6 million salary, and he divulged the incredible news with CBS’ Amanda Barionis during a post-round interview.

Morikawa and his wife Catherine are currently pregnant with their first child. The couple shared a touching hug on the 18th green just after missing the winning putt.
“Golf aside, it’s actually scheduled for later this year. We just started telling people about it this week. I said if I can go out there and win, what better way to announce it to the world? There’s so much to life and so much to enjoy. I’m hard on myself, but I’m really grateful for the people around me, my team. Cat, my wife, my parents, my brother. I’m speechless right now.”
Katherine is an accomplished golfer herself, playing collegiately at Pepperdine. They are getting married in November 2022.
