Football has its ups and downs, but Tottenham Hotspur have struggled to build momentum under manager Thomas Frank.
The Danish manager has now been sacked, leaving him with the lowest win record of any permanent Spurs manager in the Premier League.

The truth is, Frank could have won a few more games and still faced an excruciating level of dissent from the fan base. The fan base has lost the joy of last year’s Europa League victory after months of poor performance.
With manager Igor Tudor at the helm for the remainder of the season, ENIC Group will be looking to improve in attack while keeping the club away from the very real threat of relegation from the Premier League in their first port of call.
How Tudor can improve Spurs’ attack
Of Tudor’s 11 coaching appointments, only four were appointed at the start of the campaign. He is used to venturing into conflict zones and establishing safe routes.
That’s what Tottenham need, but fans will say the real aim should be to prioritize success higher up.
For this to happen, Spurs will need to rediscover their form in the final third. It’s no exaggeration to say that the Londoners have been one of the least creative teams in the Premier League this season, and are in a tough spot from an attacking point of view.

Creativity has really declined, but the forwards also need to do more, not just really launch, but move with purpose, work into space and create a symbiotic relationship that powers a dynamic forward line.
With Dominic Solanke’s return from injury last month, the N17 team has already taken a step in the right direction. The striker has played in 11 games and scored 4 goals.
Solanke is fast, powerful and effective in the box. But he is also unreliable in terms of fitness and with Randall Kolo Muani flattering him in front of goal, another struggling forward could have a chance to reignite his career in the coming months.
Spurs prospect could replace Kolo Muani
Kolo Muani will be happy that Tudor has arrived. After all, the struggling striker had scored five goals in 11 games for Juventus when the 47-year-old was in charge.
However, podcast host Kyle Freegard criticized the Frenchman’s “lazy” display in last month’s Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund, saying he is still searching for his first goal involvement in the Premier League despite appearing in 18 games.
But if the loanee continues to use flattery to deceive, Matthijs Tell could step up to bat and ultimately earn a career at Tottenham.
Last year’s loanee became a permanent transfer after winning the Europa League, matching his transfer fee of £30 million from Bayern Munich in June.
There is no question that the French prospect knows how to hit the ball. In this respect, he is one of the most talented young forwards in Europe, but the application of his skills, the utilization of his talents, leaves much to be desired.
Tell has been praised by presenter Ben Bowman for his “Defoe-like” scoring ability, creating chances out of thin air and striking the ball very sweetly.
It is important to remember that he is only 20 years old and arrived in the Tottenham team, which has contributed little to the success of emerging talents.
Still, his skills are tailored for the Premier League and Tudor’s hard-hitting, aggressive attacking style could help him reach his potential.
Perhaps Tell needed a manager who would show him that they believed in him. Remember, he has been left out of Tottenham’s European squad twice this season and was so frustrated under Frank that he considered leaving in January, but Paris were more than happy to oblige.
Now, the natural finisher has the perfect chance to realize his potential in the Premier League and is putting his Defoe-esque shooting boots to good use.
If Conte, who is similar to Bale, is signed, he is unlikely to start again for Tudor’s Spurs.
The struggling Tottenham star could be hampered by the interim arrival of Igor Tudor.
