The tournament relocated to Torrey Pines Golf Course last year due to wildfires in the Los Angeles area, but the 2026 Genesis Invitational will return to Riviera Country Club as the second signature event of the PGA Tour season. The return to one of the PGA Tour’s most iconic venues is a welcome one, especially for Cameron Young, who has never finished lower than 20th in his three tournaments at Riviera. Young finished second in his first Genesis Invitational, which is one reason why SportsLine Models is backing him with our prop pick for the 2026 Genesis Invitational. The model also backs Tommy Fleetwood to finish in the top five with +490 odds in the latest 2026 Genesis Invitational odds. Fleetwood will play Rory McIlroy and Collin Morikawa through the first two rounds, and the trio will tee off Thursday at 12:08 p.m. ET.

The model also favors 26-year-old Chris Gottapp to finish in the top 10 in the 2026 Genesis Invitational bet at +300 odds. He won two of the first four tournaments and the model expects that success to continue, making him a strong choice for 2026 Genesis Invitational betting. Before locking in your 2026 Genesis Invitational prop picks and other PGA Tour bets on sites like FanDuel and DraftKings, be sure to check out the golf predictions and projected leaderboards from proven computer models at SportsLine.

Top 2026 Genesis Invitational Prop Picks

  • Tommy Fleetwood top 5 (+490)
  • Chris Gotterup enters the top 10 (+300)
  • Cameron Young Group B Winner (+335)

Tommy Fleetwood: Top 5 finish (+490)

Fleetwood finished T4 at last weekend’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, highlighted by a 6-under 66 in Sunday’s final round. He shot 68 or less in all four rounds of his PGA Tour season debut. Fleetwood won the FedEx Cup title last year, finishing T3 in the FedEx St. Jude Championship and T4 in the BMW Championship before winning the Tour Championship. Fleetwood, who missed out on a spot at the U.S. Open, ended last season with a dominant performance, finishing second at the Travelers Championship, and appeared to be carrying last year’s success into the start of the 2026 season. Fleetwood finished in the top five seven times in 19 tournaments last year. With nearly 5-1 odds at +490 on FanDuel, the model sees great value in backing Fleetwood to another top-five finish this weekend.

Chris Gotterup: Top 10 finish (+300)

The 26-year-old has already earned more than $10 million in his PGA Tour career with four wins in 72 matches. Gotterup has won two of the first four tournaments of the season, including a stunning come-from-behind win and playoff win at the Phoenix Open on Feb. 5, giving him an early advantage in the 2026 FedExCup standings. Gotterup shot a 7-under 64 on Sunday to force a playoff victory. Gottapp ended last year’s PGA Tour season on a high note with a win at the Genesis Scottish Open, a third place at the British Open Championship and a tie for 10th at the Tour Championship. He has carried that success into this season, making him a strong candidate to reach the top according to the model’s predictions. Caesars Sportsbook has odds of 3-1, and the model thinks it’s worth backing Gottarup to finish in the top 10 again this weekend.

Cameron Young DraftKings Group B Winner (+335)

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Group B features Russell Henry, Patrick Cantlay, Sam Barnes, Viktor Hovland and Young, with both Henry and Cantlay having lower odds of winning the group than Young. However, this model puts Young at the top of this group, five spots ahead of the next-highest player. A chance to face Young at +335 odds represents great value with these projections. Young finished second at the 2022 Genesis Invitational and has never finished outside the top 20 in three events at Riviera Country Club. He had a T4 finish at last year’s FedEx Cup Championship and finished 11th or worse in each of the last four events of last year’s PGA Tour season. The model likes him as the winner in this DraftKings group regardless of price, but especially so at the third-longest odds among a group of five players.
