The Premier League table has undergone significant changes after a supercomputer predicted what the final standings would be at the end of the season.

Data-based predictions conducted by CasinoHawks (via The Sun) suggest historic changes at both ends of the table, including a closely decided title winner and the traditional ‘big six’ powerhouses facing a decline.

Arsenal beat Man City to win the Premier League

In the championship race, the supercomputer predicts that Arsenal will eventually end their title drought and come out on top with 86 points.

The Gunners are set to secure 26 wins, one point behind Manchester City, as Josep Guardiola’s side finished with 85 wins.

In the Champions League competition, Manchester United are expected to regain their form and finish in third place with 68 points.

Chelsea are next in fourth place with 65 points, beating out Liverpool and Aston Villa on goal difference to secure the last place in Europe’s Elite League, with all three clubs expected to finish tied on points.

Tottenham, Burnley and Wolves headed for relegation

While the title race is in the spotlight, the most shocking revelation from the supercomputer is the prediction of Tottenham’s collapse.

It was one of the most astonishing defeats in Premier League history, leaving Tottenham relegated with 31 points and expected to finish 18th.

They are expected to drop down to level with Burnley (29 points) and Wolves (18 points).

This prediction raises a serious question: Could the unthinkable really happen to the Spurs? Manager Igor Tudor has not been able to make a positive impact since taking over, and rather than improving, his results have continued to worsen.

The team appears to be lacking in confidence and based on their current trajectory and these latest numbers, falling out of the championship looks increasingly like a harsh reality.

With no further wins expected for the remainder of the campaign, the north London club faces a desperate battle to prove the data wrong.
