  • Antonin Kinski hints at possibility of leaving Tottenham on loan

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel has sent a heartfelt direct message to Tottenham ace Antonin Kinski after a difficult week.

The young Czech shot-stopper suffered a nightmare performance for Spurs in their 5-2 loss to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, but Schmeichel has offered to speak to him if he wishes.

Watch the video clip below. Schmeichel shows what a class act he is by claiming that Kinski did nothing wrong and was in fact humiliated by Tottenham’s caretaker manager Igor Tudor, being dragged out to dry and replaced after just 15 minutes…

Message from Peter Schmeichel to Antonin Kinski

“By the way, I’ll say directly to Kinski… as goalkeeper David de Gea said, we’ve all been there, but it’s a different position,” Schmeichel told CBS Sports.

“We know that if you make a mistake, more often than not it will be a goal. The reality of being a goalkeeper is that you will make a mistake and that will result in a goal.

“And the art of goaltending is how you react to that. He didn’t have a chance to react to that. But let me just say directly, I didn’t do anything wrong yesterday. I made some mistakes, but as a human being I didn’t do anything wrong and I think it was incredibly wrong to be left out to dry.”

“If you ever want to chat, I’m here…I’ve been there too, so I know what it’s like.”

Antonin Kinski hints at possibility of leaving Tottenham on loan

Shortly after the match, the Telegraph reported that Kinski could leave Tottenham on loan this summer to rebuild his career.

However, THFC fans must certainly feel some sympathy for Kinski. Because he was thrown into the deep end with a surprise start in this important game.

Tudor definitely should have stuck with him, but it’s just one of the many things the Croatian tactician seems to have gotten wrong during his previous spell as caretaker manager at Spurs.
