England legend Stuart Pearce has called for Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw to be included in manager Thomas Tuchel’s squad for the upcoming 2026 World Cup.

Shaw has had a varied career with Man United and England, often looking like a top player on his day, but also having an unfortunate injury record and struggling with consistency.
Still, Pearce is a big fan of Shaw and feels he still has a chance to be England’s first-choice left-back at this summer’s North American World Cup.
The 30-year-old reflects on his best at United this season and Pearce feels his experience could be invaluable to the Three Lions.

Shaw particularly scored for England in the Euro 2020 final against Italy and generally rarely disappoints his country.
Discussing the left-back position with The Sun, Pearce insisted Shaw join Tuchel’s team this summer.
