Tottenham have decided to appoint Igor Tudor as interim head coach for the time being following a heated 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Anfield.
The Times reports that the Croatian tactician will remain in charge for this week’s important games against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League and Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.

Richarlison’s dramatic late equalizer appeared to have earned Tudor a suspended sentence.
Spurs bosses were reported to be considering further changes after their disastrous run of results, but the result against Liverpool appears to have convinced them Tudor will allow him to lead the team through the international break.
Igor Tudor remains Tottenham manager for next two games
Although the draw with the defending champions has eased the immediate pressure, Tudor’s position remains under intense scrutiny.
The club are currently in a race against time to overturn a 5-2 deficit against Atlético Madrid in the Champions League Round of 16 second leg tomorrow night.
The board also accepts six relegation points for Sunday’s game against Nottingham Forest.
Spurs currently sit in 16th place, just one point above the drop zone, and the result against Forest is expected to be insurmountable.
If Tudor fail to secure a win in either of these matches, the club may end up relying on Somone like Sean Dyche to ride out the decline.
Tottenham’s performance under manager Igor Tudor
It is worth noting that the point at Anfield was Tottenham’s first under Tudor since he replaced Thomas Frank on February 14.
Although morale has increased slightly, the club has yet to record a win in the 2026 calendar year and remains winless under the new manager’s tenure.

Tudor said the draw was “invaluable” given the injury crisis in the squad and only 12 senior outfield players available for selection.
But having conceded 14 goals in just five games, the Croatian must find a way to improve a defense that looks alarmingly fragile if he wants to keep his job after the weekend.
