Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandes is reportedly set to leave the club at the end of this season.

The 25-year-old has been outstanding for Chelsea since joining the club, attracting interest from clubs such as Real Madrid, PSG and Manchester City. Reports from Spain say the player is unsettled at the London club and is prepared to be forced to leave in the summer.

Manchester City have already started making strategic moves towards signing the South American player and it will be interesting to see if they are willing to pay a premium. Josep Guardiola rates the player highly and believes Fernandes will be a quality addition to his midfield.

Manchester City need more creativity in the middle of the park and the 2022 World Cup winner could make a big difference. He adds control, creativity, drive and purpose to the team. He is still a young player with a lot of potential and has the potential to develop further.

Chelsea value the player at around 150 million euros, but it remains to be seen whether Manchester City are prepared to pay big for him.

Fernandes is well established in the Premier League and could make an immediate impact if he joins Manchester City. The opportunity to join Real Madrid could also be very exciting. They are one of the biggest clubs in the world and South American players tend to prefer moving to La Liga. He has already shown his quality in England and may now prefer a new challenge. It remains to be seen how the situation will develop.
