According to X’s press team, Oliseh’s family will attend today’s match between Liverpool and Brighton, with the France international seen as the ideal long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah at Anfield.

It has been a disappointing season for Salah, who has not been in form since last season when he helped Liverpool win the Premier League title.

The Egyptian international is now starting to show his age and Olise showed with his world-class performances for Bayern that he could be the ideal long-term successor on the right flank.

Olise’s acquisition is expensive, but that’s the only factor that lowers his score slightly. That’s because he ticks all the other boxes with his recent form and Liverpool’s need for a signing in that position.

The 24-year-old has scored 35 goals in 93 appearances for Bayern and showed what he can do in the Premier League with some impressive performances during his time at Crystal Palace.

Bayern won’t let Michael Olise go

It’s hard to imagine this being a realistic deal for LFC, as Bayern won’t be under pressure to sell for anything other than a crazy amount of money.

Olise is in no hurry to sign a new contract as he is under contract with the Bundesliga giants until 2029, but it would certainly help end all speculation.

CF Bayern Insider’s Christian Falk recently provided further insight into Olise’s situation.
