The spotlight was supposed to be on Scottie Scheffler’s final preparations before the Masters at the 2026 Houston Open, but the world No. 1 made the decision. Decline from an event due to family circumstances. With Scheffler reportedly awaiting the birth of her second child, the Houston Open suddenly became a huge opportunity for other competitors.

As always, Scheffler was the big favorite, especially since most of the world’s top players had a week off. Currently, reigning champion Min Woo Lee is at the top of the odds sheet at 13-1, according to Caesars Sportsbook, and there are an incredible number of contenders behind him.

That group includes Chris Gotthard, the season’s only two-time winner, and Brooks Koepka, who has improved steadily over the last month but continues to look for a full week of contention after returning to the PGA Tour. Other notable names in the field include Jake Knapp, Michael Thorbjornsen, Marco Penge, Rickie Fowler, Shane Lowry, Adam Scott, and Sahis Segala.

Whether you’re a veteran going through a drought or a rising star looking to climb to the next tier, a big opportunity suddenly presents itself this week in Houston, two weeks after the Masters.

Here’s how to watch the games in Houston all weekend long.
