Rico Ruiz needs movement

Luiz has proven his quality with Manchester City in the Premier League and could be an important player for Newcastle. The opportunity to play regularly in the Premier League would be very exciting for Luiz and Newcastle could provide him with that platform.

The defender is under contract with Manchester City until 2030, so they could command more than £30m for him.

It will be interesting to see if Newcastle are willing to pay such a sum for the Manchester City defender. Lewis is a talented young player with a promising future and could justify the investment in the long term. The asking price may seem steep now, but it could be a solid long-term investment for Newcastle.

Newcastle could use Lewis

They need a higher quality squad to compete regularly in Europe and need to fill the gap during the summer transfer window.

Luiz will be desperate for regular opportunities at this stage of his career and Newcastle have an exciting project. I think I’ll be tempted if I come in the summer. It remains to be seen whether the two clubs can reach an agreement in the coming months.
