Manchester United target Marcos Senesi has rejected interest from Europe’s top teams and wants to join a Premier League club this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Senesi is set to leave Bournemouth as a free agent this summer despite his impressive form with the Cherries.
Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United are believed to have been in contact over a move in recent weeks, with the Argentina international expected to choose his next club soon.
Senesi joined Bournemouth from Feyenoord in the summer of 2022 and has made 122 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals.
At 28 years old and in his prime, the centre-back is now a full international player and will be one of the hottest players on the market when his contract expires this summer. And Romano revealed some very good news for the English clubs in the race.

The reporter revealed on his YouTube channel that the defender has rejected interest from overseas, namely La Liga and Serie A.
This is because the player wants to remain in the Premier League, his agent is in talks with the club and the player is “ready” to take the next step in his career.
“Despite offers from Italy, for example from Juventus, and also from Spain, he wants to remain in the Premier League.

INEOS to sign new Manchester United signing Fernandes for £100m, the club’s record fee
New Bruno Fernandes could be heading to Manchester United.
Although Romano has not confirmed that United are one of the clubs in talks, the Red Devils are one of the most likely names in the race for the 28-year-old.
Advantages and disadvantages of Senesi
The Bournemouth centre-back is best known for his ability to break lines with long passes and forms a key part of Andoni Iraola’s philosophy at the Vitality Stadium.
A left-handed centre-back but comfortable on either flank, the three-cap Argentine is extremely physical, averaging over one foul and picking up eight yellow cards per game in the league this season.
