  • Should the Red Devils target a young attacker like Eli Crupi?

Manchester United are looking to add attacking reinforcements in the summer transfer window, and one of their targets has expressed interest in a move to Old Trafford.

According to Football Insider, Bournemouth star Eli Junior Crupi is ready to leave the club, with both Manchester United and Liverpool closely tracking the young attacker.

Crupi adapted smoothly to the relentless pace and physicality of the Premier League, scoring 10 league goals in a brilliant debut season.

Michael Carrick’s side are reportedly looking to move further up the table.

United are preparing for a major overhaul of their squad in the summer under INEOS and will be hoping to take advantage of the looming uncertainty at Bournemouth, especially with highly-rated manager Andoni Iraola expected to resign at the end of the season.

However, the price of Kurupi is not cheap. The Cherries slapped a huge asking price of £60 million on their prized asset.

Crupi is not the only Bournemouth player to attract attention in Manchester. The Red Devils are also reportedly keeping a close eye on midfield dynamo Alex Scott and Argentine centre-back Marcos Senesi.

The raid on the Vitality Stadium appears to be a true multi-player strategy for United’s hierarchy as they look to inject fresh, Premier League-proven talent into their squad.

Should the Red Devils target a young attacker like Eli Crupi?

A £60 million fee is undoubtedly a huge gamble for a 19-year-old, but in today’s highly inflated market, securing top talent early can mean huge returns down the road.

But what Man United need most right now is experience. Their attacking line-up currently consists of players such as Benjamin Sesco, Matheus Cunha and Brian Mbeumo.

They are all talented and have performed well this season, especially in the second half of the season, but they need more experience within the squad.

They need a leader who can lead the attack and has trophy-winning experience.

Bruno Fernandes is currently playing the best football of his career and Man United should give him an instant attacker and a player who can make an immediate impact.

Eli Crupi is still young and a move to Man United so early in his career could put more pressure on him than make him a world-beater.
