Aston Villa and Newcastle United are interested in signing Germany midfielder Julian Brandt.

According to a report from FussballDaten, two Premier League clubs are preparing their most aggressive offers to sign the 29-year-old playmaker in the summer.

They want to add more creativity in the final third and the German could be ideal for them. He is available on a free transfer and signing him could be a bargain.

Brunt has attracted the attention of several clubs and it will be interesting to see if the two Premier League clubs can convince him to move to England.

The player has contributed 14 goals for Borussia Dortmund this season and has the quality to play well in the Premier League. He can play not only on the wing but also as a number 10. His versatility would be a bonus for Aston Villa and Newcastle.

The West Midlands club are aiming to qualify for the Champions League and could be an attractive transfer destination. We need more quality if we want to maintain the current level. Brandt will add unpredictability and technical ability to them in the final third. He will help them create more chances and score more goals.

Similarly, Newcastle need more services from Nick Waltemaide and Ioan Wissa. It will be interesting to see if they can get the German international to join the club.

Aston Villa are likely to become a more attractive destination for the player due to their potential to feature in next season’s UEFA Champions League. However, Newcastle are one of the richest clubs in the world and could offer him a lucrative contract.
