  • Jeremy Doku scored a shocking goal in the 97th minute to make it 3-3.
  • Arsenal have the advantage, but a draw keeps Man City’s hopes alive

In late drama at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, Everton scored three goals in just 15 minutes to take a shock 3-1 lead, but Manchester City fought back late with goals from Erling Haaland and Jeremy Doku to keep their Premier League title hopes alive.

In an intense match, City appeared to be on track after Doc’s opening goal in the first half.

However, confusion in the second half turned the game upside down. Tierno Barry’s de Gaulle and Jake O’Brien’s powerful header ensured that Josep Guardiola’s side faced defeat and the momentum was firmly in Arsenal’s hands.

Erling Haaland scores immediately from kick-off after Everton’s third goal

Manchester City responded immediately in the 81st minute as Everton fans celebrated Barry’s second goal and Everton’s third.

Immediately after the ensuing kick-off, the ball passed to Mateo Kovacic, who clipped a wonderful pass over the Toffees backline.

Erling Haaland displayed the predatory instincts that have marked his season, grabbing the ball and deftly chipping it past the advancing Jordan Pickford.

The goal, scored just seconds after the restart, silenced the stadium and ignited City’s desperate onslaught in the final minutes.

Jeremy Doku scored a shocking goal in the 97th minute to make it 3-3.

Seven minutes into stoppage time, City’s persistence finally paid off.

Doc scored the first goal with a left-footed curler and scored again in the final minutes of the match.

When the ball fell to him from a corner kick in the 96th minute, the winger cut inside from the left, weaving past two tired Everton defenders and firing a stunning curling shot. It bypassed Pickford’s outstretched hand and ended up in the top corner of the goal.

It was a goal of pure individual brilliance, securing a 3-3 draw and saving a goal that could prove crucial in the race for the trophy.

Arsenal have the advantage, but a draw keeps Man City’s hopes alive

As a result, Arsenal defeated Fulham 3-0 and are now at the top of the table with a five-point difference.

However, City still have a game in hand and if they can get through the remaining games without any further slip-ups, the title race remains within reach.

However, at this rate, if Arsenal don’t drop any more points in their remaining three games, they will become champions.
