Former Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant says he has had enough and Arne Slott should not become Reds manager next season.
The pundit, who played 81 games for Liverpool between 2006 and 2009, revealed in a post on X that he has lost faith in Slott to turn things around.

“Enough excuses. Yes, injuries don’t help but every team has them. But enough is enough. Slott can’t be the manager next season because this style of football is not Liverpool,” Pennant posted.
“Don’t tell me he won the league last season. He has to come to an end.”
Can Arne Slott bounce back or is it time for Liverpool to change managers?
It’s quite remarkable to see so much animosity just a year after Slott led Liverpool to the Premier League title, but the team has suffered a significant drop in form this term.
The Merseyside giants have a disastrous record of losing 11 league games and conceding 48 goals, almost unable to challenge for the title and are currently languishing in 4th place.
The atmosphere inside Anfield today was quite somber, with the home fans booing the result and appearing to similarly criticize Slott’s surprising choice to bring Rio Ngmoja off as a substitute.
Slott explained that Ngmoha was injured, but didn’t seem too happy about having to explain himself since his relationship with Kop had clearly broken down.
There is no doubt that LFC will have to make a big decision at the end of this season as it will take something special to turn this around.
