Ryan Gravenbirch says Liverpool ‘didn’t deserve’ boos

“To be honest, we need them behind us…Okay, we don’t win, but I don’t think we really deserve this.

“I think the fans have to be behind us like they were for 90 minutes because I think when they got behind us in the second half, we were pressing them quite a bit. So we need that.”

“I hope they don’t do something like this in the next few games.”

Liverpool only have two games left in the Premier League, making it a very disappointing season for the club.

It remains to be seen what the Reds can come up with in the final game to improve the mood of fans who are clearly not enjoying Arne Slott’s brand of football at the moment.

Can Arne Slott win back Liverpool fans?

Slott was a huge success in his first season with LFC, winning the Premier League title while Manchester City and Arsenal suffered somewhat disappointing seasons.

In many ways, what we are now seeing is the kind of struggle many would have expected from Slott, who has taken on the difficult task of replacing the legendary Jurgen Klopp.

The Dutch tactician simply doesn’t have as much charisma or passion as Klopp, but that seems to be reflected in the team’s play at the moment.

It will be interesting to see if Slott can keep his job and turn things around, or if Liverpool bow to fan pressure and consider making a change.
