Manchester United and Liverpool are interested in signing Eduardo Camavinga from Real Madrid at the end of the season.
The 23-year-old French international needs to leave the Spanish club in order to play more often and a move to the Premier League would be ideal for him.
TEAMtalk reports that the player is unhappy with his lack of appearances for the Spanish club, which led to him losing his place in France’s squad for the upcoming World Cup.
He has no intention of remaining at Real Madrid as an international player and a move to the Premier League is reportedly an attractive option for him. Additionally, Liverpool and Manchester United reportedly held talks this week about a potential transfer. It remains to be seen whether they will continue their interest and make a formal offer to sign the France international.
Liverpool need a quality defensive midfielder and the 23-year-old will add physicality, defensive strength and technical attributes to the center of the park. His contract will allow Ryan Gravenbirch more freedom to operate as a central midfielder. The 23-year-old could be the ideal signing for Liverpool.
Manchester United, on the other hand, need a quality replacement for Casemiro. The Brazilian has decided to leave the club in the summer and a replacement is needed. The 23-year-old France international has all the tools to develop into a world-class player and could be a great investment for Manchester United.
Real Madrid are unlikely to stand in his way if a suitable offer is made. He is not an essential asset for them and it remains to be seen how the situation will play out.
