Arsenal were crowned Premier League champions after Manchester City dropped a point against Bournemouth in the penultimate game of the season.

Arsenal were in the lead in the title race for much of the season, but recently suffered a loss to Manchester City and almost slipped towards the end. However, midfielder Declan Rice said after the match that the title fight was not over.

The Arsenal star was adamant the Gunners were still very much in the race, and his optimism has now been proven correct.

The midfielder shared a post on Instagram after Manchester City’s draw with Bournemouth.

He wrote:I said it all, it’s over🏆❤️.”

Rice has been outstanding for Arsenal all season and is arguably one of the club’s best players. Apart from his qualities as a footballer, his leadership will be crucial for the north London club this season.

Arsenal won the Premier League title for the first time in 22 years and also reached the UEFA Champions League final. It remains to be seen whether they can make it to the end of the competition and win their first-ever Champions League trophy.

Mikel Arteta has come under heavy criticism in recent seasons, but he has finally brought Arsenal the league title. He will now be hoping to finish the season on a high by winning the UEFA Champions League final against PSG.

Arsenal have had a great run in the UEFA Champions League so far and there is no reason they can’t beat the defending champions to win the European Cup. They have a solid defense and if they can improve in the final third, they have a good chance of finishing the season with a Premier League and UEFA Champions League double win.
