  • Men’s French Open Moneyline Pick: Jannik Sinner (-310)
  • Moneyline candidate for Women’s French Open: Iga Swiatek (+275)
  • Notable prop bets

The first round of Roland Garros begins on Sunday. 2026 French Open And there’s a lot of excitement building in the tennis world for the next major tournament. Carlos Alcaraz is noticeably absent from the men’s draw, and there is a possibility of a rematch of last year’s epic final with Jannik Sinner, but Grand Slam tournaments always leave plenty of room for surprises.

While Sinner is the big favorite to win on the men’s side, the women’s draw appears to have a wide range of possibilities for any of five to 10 different potential winners to win. Among the women who could lift the trophy is last year’s winner, American Coco Gauff.

Before the match begins on the game’s most famous clay court, we’ve looked at the odds and picked the four best bets for Roland Garros.

2026 French Open prize money, payouts: Roland Garros winner gets $2.9 million from $71.5 million purse

Let’s take a look at the draft picks along with odds from DraftKings.

Men’s French Open Moneyline Pick: Jannik Sinner (-310)

Picking the favorite to win a tournament is never fun, but Alcaraz’s absence this year removes Sinner’s biggest obstacle to hoisting the trophy. It’s easy to see how far Sinner leads the pack when he’s the second most likely man to win the tournament (Alexander Zverev) at odds of +1200.

Sinner is 36-2 in games this year, including five straight wins and 29 straight wins since his last loss. At some point, the -310 starts to feel like a steal. Riding the favorite, look for Sinner to take home the fifth major trophy of his career.

Moneyline candidate for Women’s French Open: Iga Swiatek (+275)

The situation on the men’s side looks like a lock, with plenty of potential upset under Sinner, while the draw on the women’s side feels very unpredictable. Aryna Sabalenka is world No. 1, and rightly so, but in the two big clay tournaments leading up to Roland Garros, Madrid and Rome, she lost to No. 32 Haley Baptiste in Madrid and No. 27 Sorana Cirstea in Rome before the semifinals. That’s not the right kind of momentum to bring to the French. Sabalenka has the ability to flip a switch and quickly get back to her best, but she also has a weakness for being too crazy when things don’t go well.

Iga Swiatek won the French Open in 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024, but she is not as dominant on clay as she used to be. Last year’s winner Coco Gauff is still a +650 player, but she’s a volatile player where things either go perfectly or she can’t find her serve and her athleticism alone can’t save her.

We’re siding with Swiatek here and going back to the title to create a storybook. Sabalenka has looked human and capable of winning in recent tournaments, and Swiatek has always been at his best at Roland Garros. If Sabalenka leaves the door open, Swiatek has the game to walk through it.

Notable prop bets

Coco Gauff wins in 2nd quarter (+110): Gauff reached the final in Rome, so she is playing well on clay at the moment. Added to the momentum from last year’s tournament win, there is every reason to believe Gauff can advance to the semifinals. If she can get past fellow American Taylor Townsend in the first round without much trouble, she will definitely advance to the semi-finals.

Alexander Zverev wins in the 4th quarter (+300): Zverev was the second favorite to win the entire tournament, and his draw wasn’t as rough as Novak Djokovic’s in the third quarter. Arthur Fils and Rafael Jodar are live players in Zverev’s group, which has since seen a significant decline. Zverev has not always been the most consistent, but this time it was a good draw and the time is right for him to at least reach the semi-finals.
